Coins
Monsters will randomly drop coins upon death. You can also find coins in chests. To collect coins in chests you need only right click whilst holding them, and they will be added. Alternatively, dropping them and picking them up as any other mob drop works just fine. There are 4 tiers of coins:; bronze, silver, gold and platinum. These can be used to trade with villagers. Coins will currently upgrade themselves, as follows (please add to)
100 Bronze coins => 1 silver coin.
100 Silver coins => 1 gold coin.
Trading
When you find a NPC village, right clicking on a villager who does not use the default texture (has a apron of some sort) will open up the trading GUI. At the top there is a box with the items that the villager has to offer, and underneath is your inventory. If you hover over a item, under its name will be a price. If the item is in the villagers area, the price under it is the buy price. Clicking an item will buy the item from the villager and then you can place it in your inventory. If you hover over an item in your area, the sell price will be displayed. If you click on the item and place it in the villagers area, you will sell it. Currently the type of villager does not affect the items, but this may change.
Villagers
Village spawn rate has been increased (but it is still hard sometimes) so that they can be found more commonly. The villagers spawned inside the village will be given a first and last name, and of course a level.
Exploitable Bugs
As villager trading in Hack/Mine is still in development, bugs can and do exist. Most are exploitable, and such may be monitored or prohibited on servers. This section is mostly for the developers.
- If you remove only one arrow at a time from a villager selling them into your inventory, they will not charge you. This effectively allows for infinite money if you then sell back the whole stack, although it can take some patience.
If you find any more, please add it above.
